  • Bigger than the normal ones I go to but products that are less quality and more samey. I suppose it will depend on what you are after. Food and toilets are available as well as ample parking. Prices are more reasonable than I am used to.

  • One of the better car boot sales, probably 70% or so of the sellers are genuine car booters looking to sell stuff from their homes so it’s worth a visit. Try and arrive early as the queue to get parked can be lengthy after 8.30am.

My first time visiting the Fordham Carboot Sales this past weekend. First of it was soooo windy this day and most vendors stuck out the cold and the wind for hours. The staff directing traffic did a great job. Nice selection of vendors there...lots of brick-a-brac, tools, household items, vinyl records, clothing, etc. They had some great food options there, and a mobile butcher that was auctioning cuts of meat. Can't wait for the next one.

  • Very large carboot, takes good 2 hours to do it all especially if it is a good one. It is a shame that as a buyer you have ro pay 1 pound per person.

Great market, well marshalled and great range of vendors. Fast food prices bit high but it's a captive populous and there is a cost of living crisis. Well worth a visit, either as a buyer or seller. Going to be returning soon as the possibilities are tempting.

A MASSSSSIVE car boot. Honestly it’s so big. Some good bargains to be had here except maybe the meal wagons. Very pricey. 50p entry for a buyer

  • The car boot is really good with plenty of variety, and a good size. The down side is at present it’s 50p per person admission as of July it’s being put up to £1 per person, 100% increase how can that possibly be justified. Complete greed by the owner/ organiser. that will be my last visit.

One of the best organised in the area. This car boot should be set as a bench mark for others to reach. Facilities really do make the day of selling so much easier. Free at donuts btw.

Went with a friend to sell and had a great time. Everyone is so friendly and there are so many great stalls including the meat stand, Barbie stand and Lego stand and a Burger van or two. We sold most of our stuff and just had a lovely time hanging out. Lots for kids to do, bouncy castles etc and great bargains to be had.

  • Very friendly & lots of family friendly stalls, some great plants & a few good junk stalls. I enjoyed a rush round last Sunday between 11 & 12,having driven on recommendations from Shipdham. I was a bit surprised that so many stalls were packing up or already gone. The advert says until 2pm?

Large field with plenty of space for sellers and buyers to park. Neatly organised. Includes rides for children, food vans, toilets, first aid caravan, and regular business sellers as well as private persons. Usually has an abundance of stalls with baby clothes and products. Disappointing that there is now a charge to buyers (50p per adult) as well as sellers. Especially as there has been reports of increased number of cars damaged and broken into while parked here. Runs for about 6 months of the year, every other Sunday.

Buyers entry cost £0.50 per adult. Big car park on the field. Have toilet. If you are hungry you can buy food from vans. A lot of sellers - a good place if you want to get cheap toys, games and other bits/ things.

Very well organised, only thing I would say is £10 for a car is a bit pricey and times aren't correct. We got there at 6.15am and it was in full swing, loads of buyers while you are trying to set up. Think I'd get there a bit earlier next time. Big pitches, plenty of room. People start packing up around 10.30
